Aisha Sakrani

Youth Mentor

Salaam! My name is Ayesha Sakrani and I’m a 4th year student at the University of Toronto in the Mental Health Studies program, with a focus on Psychology and Human Biology. I’ve been actively involved in the healthcare space, whether through creating psychoeducational content, supporting psychotherapists administratively, or assisting patients at the pharmacy. I’m passionate about integrating the teachings of Western psychology with the wisdom of Islamic psychology drawn from the Qur’an and Sunnah. I deeply value education, both as a means of personal growth and as a way to uplift and serve others. I’m also passionate about creative forms of expression including visual arts, sound therapy (like Qur’an and nature), and especially poetry and creative writing as powerful tools for healing and connection. I look forward to supporting you on your journey, InshAllah.
